Hard day of work (by karli mielke)

Hello parents and family members! Colorado is so beautiful! Yesterday we got our jobs. Everybody has had a few troubles yesterday, whether are not it was physically or emotionally For me it was both. My job is digging up 275 acres of dry desert plants. That was the physical part for me yesterday, and the emotional part for me was that I was trying to tell myself that I can do this and to not give up. I would really appreciate your prayer to just give me the energy to keep going. Thanks so much!
Karli without your prayers then her with your prayers :-)

No wonder we didn't hear from CJ yesterday, you guys have been working hard! We're thinking about all of you all the time, especially you leaders. God bless you for taking this on! We'll be thinking about how hard all of you are working while we're relaxing in the pool. :) Just kidding! Miss you CJ! Call home soon. Love, Mom

Karli-It was hard to read your post, especially after your phone call last night. It was my instinct to want to rush in and "rescue" you! My heart breaks for you, but at the same time, I've been praying that God will stretch each one of you through this experience...looks like He's doing just that! Remember, God is less worried about your comfort than your character! He will be your strength and carry you through when you are tired. Lean on Him!!! Your family and friends are praying for you in a very mighty way! XOXOXO Mom & Dad

Hi Karli,I am sooo very proud of you for taking this adventure to minister to others. I understand you are having a rough go of it but I am here to offer my love and support to you. I will give you 2 scriptures to look up when you have time Prov 3:5-6 which is your grandmas favorite verse and mine is Phil 4:13 These are called our life verses and I hope you gain strength from them. Remember if God leads you to it, He'll bring you through it. My prayers for you are that you stay healthy and strong to do your tasks and let God do His work through you because He has especially chosen YOU to do this job there for whatever reason it is. I love you and miss you!! Aunt Kim I am one determined auntie because you know I don't do the internet very well and this took me 3 times just to write you a note. Love you bunches !!!

Karli,

I bet your glad your mom and dad don't have plants to dig up! Are you getting blisters yet? And, no more fainting. You might hurt the plants if you land on them

We love you and we're proud of you! Kepp smiling.
